Partner Spotlight: Booth Hansen

When choosing an architecture partner, we knew we wanted a firm that placed innovation, design, and quality at the forefront of their work. Booth Hansen seeks to create beautiful spaces for people by focusing on the functional needs of their client and also the needs of the environment it surrounds. In the case of The Residences at Chatham Park, we wanted to blend historical elements of the neighborhood into a functional and luxurious residence unlike any other in Indianapolis.

Booth Hansen is a Chicago-based and nationally recognized architecture firm specializing in multi-family and single-family homes with almost 40 years’ experience working in the Midwest. With their expertise and impressive portfolio, we were thrilled to work with them to bring our vision of Chatham Park to life.

The inspiration for Chatham Park stems directly from the Chatham Arch neighborhood—the history, of the people and the place, as well as the scale, materials, and surrounding architectural details found in the facades of the neighborhood.

Caroline Slota is the Associate Principal on the project.

What makes you excited about the Chatham Park project?

Chatham Park takes a new approach to development by offering different types of homes that will attract a vibrant community. Its proximity to downtown Indianapolis offers an urban and walkable lifestyle while nestling into the tree-lined streets and historic homes of the Chatham Arch neighborhood.

In a few words, how would you describe Residences at Chatham Park?

Elegant, Contextual, Timeless.

Chatham Park will be built in two phases. The first phase includes the two condo buildings located on East Street along with the internal garden. The second phase includes seven single-family homes and four duplexes along 9th Street and Park Avenue. When finished, the Residences at Chatham Park will be an entirely unique fixture in downtown Indy living—with 55 condos, four duplex townhomes, and seven single-family homes available. Each offer an urban and walkable lifestyle with private exterior spaces with views to the downtown and neighborhood. No other development in downtown Indy is incorporating all these housing elements into one.
